CORSTORPHINE AAC continued its incredible streak in the Seven Hills of Edinburgh race by claiming a hat-trick of titles.
Jack Eykelbosch claimed first place in a time of 1:39:04 ahead of team-mate and last year’s champion Julian Barrable, who came home in 1:43:34.
Cameron Fordyce’s ninth-place finish (1:57:22) meant CAAC claimed the overall team prize by virtue of the top three counters.
And Ken Speirs took top honours in the M50 category in a time of 2:03:30.
Jack’s victory means CAAC runners have won six out of the last seven events, which cover more than 14 miles and feature around 2,200ft of ascent/descent.
As well as Jules in 2024, the other recent winners are Ritchie Gardiner (2023), James Dunn (2021) and Sam McCutcheon (2020 and 2019).
Elsewhere, Alice Mourao won the 800m in the girls A category at the Scottish Schools Athletic Association Secondary T&F Championships.
Alice, who also took fourth in the 1500m, crossed the line in a time of 2:16.64 at Grangemouth.
