The cross-country season is now just over the halfway point following the recent East League (2) and the East District Championships. A huge well done to all those who took part in some challenging conditions.
The East League (2) took place at Camperdown Park in Dundee with CAAC represented in all the male races and most of the female races. There were some great performances and the team placings for this meeting were.

The male combined age group teams sit proudly top of the table after two meeting, but a strong turnout at the final meeting at Livingston on 21st Jan from all age groups will be required to secure top slot, and a top three slot is achievable in many of the individual age group tables.
The East District Championships took place at Stirling University with no fewer than 52 finishers from the club, with many in with a chance of selection to represent the East District in the Inter District match.
Olivia Clarke took a fine third place in the individual U17W race and was joined by Lauren Doney and Amy Crawford to take the team second place. The Senior Men’s team took a great second place with the counters being Ewan Brown, James Dunn, Henry Dee, Aaron Hoyle, Stuart Livingstone and Tom Cunningham. Meanwhile in the M50 group Iain MacLeod took third place.
Both the above races were counters in the CAAC Club XC Championships and the table has now been updated HERE to show the latest placings, with some great close competition in many age groups. It’s not too late to take part in the remainder of the season with the CC and Indoor fixtures HERE
