Driving home I saw East Lomond hill bathed in sunshine. I felt a pang of guilt not going to support the CAAC ToF elite. However that hill is big and I wasn’t ever going to go all the way up there just to say well done keep going. If you haven’t been to Falkland then you won’t quite appreciate how East Lomond towers over the village and how much up there is before there is any down! So I headed home had my tea and patiently waited for my report from roving reporter Neill………..

The bad weather never appeared so nice blue sky’s and no wind for us to trek up the Lomond Hill. Cracking running/ walking from all. If we could all be talented with Jilly’s uphill skills and Janet’s downhill running we’d be all the better for a race like this. Mountain goats the pair of them. Ally was in true form and I believe came in 3rd, think his tour is done as heading off at the weekend due to work so in the words of Keith C ‘that’s another place’ I managed to claw back Jilly on the downhill trails to be the next CAAC finisher closely followed by Jilly, Megan and Janet. Legs are feeling it now but hey ho we move into Megan’s territory tomorrow with the fast mile.

Well done CAAC elite for another fantastic evening of running. Results are here!
