2012 Autumn Handicap
With the club championships taking place on a Saturday afternoon this year I almost forgot about the Autumn Handicap coming, as it usually does, on the Thursday following the Tuesday night wind and rain fest of the club champs. So, without further ado I announce the 2012 Autumn Handicap which will take place on Thursday 20th September with the first athletes setting off at 7pm.
Details of the event can be found here http://www.caac.org.uk/handicap and a map of the route here http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=14...
The Handicap is open to all club members (U17 and up) and entry is by contacting either myself (tom@ferrington.co.uk) or your coach and providing either with some recent race times over 1mile, 2mile, 3km, 5km...or whatever...just give me a genuine time and a distance and I'll do my best to ensure you're adequately handicapped.
Post race "analysis" takes place at the Corrie Inn immediately after and if you speak nicely to BC he might buy you a pie!
I will also need marshals to help out on the course and at the start/finish. Volunteers please contact me directly.
Tom (Handicapper General)

I'll try and get away from work on time to come down for this. Should be easier than a 6 mile run with Gillian's group.
