SignUp for Devils Burden Hill Relay 2013

It's time to Burden yourself with the Devil again. Its a Hill Relay based around the Lomond Hills in Fife. This year the course is being run in reverse for the first time, meaning a whole new persepective to the legs. If you have done it before you know its a cracker of an event, but we do need to enter in advance. The club covers your entry for this one and the race is run in teams of 6. The first leg is a simple trail run, so no need to be able to navigate or be a hill runner. Legs 2,3 and 4 will need you to be able to read a map and 2 and 4 are run in pairs.

The 2012 CAAC Down'N'Up : SignUp here.

Its that time again for the classic finale to the CAAC Calendar Year, The Down'N'Up ( see http://goo.gl/QeD3N for past years events ;)

Taking place in 1 weeks time on Saturday 22 December at 9:00am (9:15 Start), the race is a gnarly 3 minute downward spiral before taking a quick breather then enduring a lung busting effort back to the Start. This is a fun event. You will be set off in timed intervals with abandon.

The REAL RELAY

Here's an epic Olympic event we can all take part in, the REAL RELAY. It an unofficial relay round the UK where the bearers actually RUN and several hundred runners pass a single baton round the 8000 mile route. I'm waiting for the East Scotland stages to appear and think I'll sign up. Check it out.
