Meadows Marathon

So whilst the majority of serious runners were off doing the Lasswade 10 (which I&;d forgotton about...my forgetfulness having nothing to do with any hills in it) & the cream of the EUH&H were (hopefully) recovering from yesterday&;s KB5 I ventured along to the Meadows Marathon this morning which is thankfully only a half-marathon and raises money for the student

Kings Buildings 5 Mile Road Race

On the 120th year of EUH&H, the KB5 provided another cracking spectacle. With Kip and Grant sharpening up for Inverness, Mozza stepping back into the fold and Dave and Ken also pulling on the colours. Its a challenging 5 mile circuit and thanks to BC driving we managed to get around the course and offer encouragement at a few spots.

Two out of three ain't bad

After the cold weather last week, Spring arrived this morning for the 5K parkrun which attracted a near record field of 205 runners.  Ian had a storming run and smashed his previous best with Jo grabbing a pb and 2nd women.  I just continued
my slow improvement!
