I really thought it would take a lot longer, but less than a year after our wedding my wife is making an assualt on BC's marathon PB!!  After several years of "I'll never be able to run 10km" and "there's no way I'm ever running further than 10km" Steph used the Nick Brown approach and jumped straight from 10km to the big one - and she's already been out for a 28km effort (that's further than Moray's longest long run pre-Paris believe it or not!!).  She and a friend (Kristen) are  running in Edinburgh on 27th May and are raising money for Breast Cancer Care - they're already halfway to their target of £1000.  Here is the link in case you want to add to it http://www.justgiving.com/Kristen-Davies
