Springvalley Harriers Welcome Home/Leaving Run

Well, as 2 of the Springvalley Harriers (Dean and Gillian) return from their Round the World Adventures, a third member (me) will be departing. Nowhere as glamerous as South America or Oz, but instead to Warwickshire, where I will be starting a new job in early April.

Fortunately, the SVH members will cross eachother (albeit briefly) and would therefore like to invite you all for a Welcome Home / Leaving Springvalley Run, followed by drinks/food at the Morningside pubs - possibly the Merlin or Canny Man's.

This will take place on Monday 2nd April, starting from Jo's flat (26/4) at 7pm. If you don't fancy the run, then feel free to just join us in the pub afterwards.

Hope lots of you will be able to make it.

Jo, Dean and Gillian

Springvalley Harriers Welcome

Sorry you can't make it Chris. Well hopefully I'll be breaking 3:30 in the marathon in a CAAC vest too :-). Hope that I can remain a CAACer despite the move...hoping can be in a Scottish and English club simultaneously?! Dave S advises me that this should be ok.

Springvalley Harriers Welcome

Yes , so sad to hear that you are on the move Jo .

This year has been quite an eventful year for - moving job to St Andrews & now moving .

Hopefully the new commute wont be so far on a daily basis. The good news ( for you ) will be that you will be a lot closer to family again.

Warwickshire - This is Shakespeare country , isn't it - posh & all that !

I hope to get along to the Springvalley meet up on Mon 2nd April ( if not for the run, then certainly for the drinkies )

Good to hear that you are planning to continue wearing the white & black vest where possible .

Springvalley Harriers Welcome

This coming Monday we will be celebrating The Carrs returning from their travels and I will be having a farewell as I travel back to England. The plan is now to meet at the Merlin, Morningside from 7pm - WITHOUT the pre-run. General feeling among others is that Monday is rest day and this will eat into the valuable drinking and chatting time! So hope to see you there. Jo, Dean and Gillian
