Well it did feel like Xmas had come early for the 264 runners as the decent weather made a rare appearance which was a welcome change from the previous weeks in December that had given us a hurricane, snow then black ice.  There was an international class field with Ross Houston and Freya Murray but not to be undone the Corstorphine young guns also turned out in force running very well.
