BROXBURN CC LEAGUE MEETING (Sat 14th Jan)

HELP NEEDED!

We have been asked to co-host this meeting and need to provide 3-4 people to help set up the course in the morning and another 3-4 as marshals during the races. Last year, course set-up was from about 9 till 11 am, so if any non-runners were available in the morning that would be great. Let me know (or reply here) if you can help and I'll pass this on to Alex Jackson.

Happy New Year all.

Just a reminder that we really need some volunteers to help with setting up the course and marshalling at Broxburn on Saturday 14th for the last league meeting. We are co-hosts, so have to provide some bodies.

If you can help (either for a couple of hours in the morning for set-up or a similar time in the afternoon as a marshal) let me know.

I've been in touch with Alex Jackson and others today and they have said that the volunteers we have now will be enough. So that means we have:

Course set-up: Grant, Jan, Chris P, Graeme and me
Marshals: JohnO and Bob (very grateful to you for coming out of retirement for this and hope the weather is OK!)

Set-up people need to be there at 9:00; marshals at 12:00. The first race is at 1:00, with the last at 2:30.

Everybody can help to take down the course afterwards!

Firstly, thank you to Graeme, Grant, Chris P and Jan for helping to set up the course at Broxburn this morning and to John and Bob for marshalling. Thankfully, it stayed dry and fairly mild.

Well done to all who have run over the league season, particularly the senior men who were confirmed as League Champions for the first time in the Club's history today! We are now in posession of a mighty shield - viewing by appointment with BC!

There's five weeks now until the Nationals, so every reason to expect a great performance there.
