Eddie's Lochaber Half Marathon, Fortwilliam

Very lucky with the weather, views just spectacular.  My favourite type of race, an out and back, especially when running an unknown course from the front, it is reassuring to know that come halfway the course is no longer unknown.  With the added bonus of support from the main field and being able to time the gap to second place at the turn.
Climbed up to the highest point in the Kingdom the next day to take a picture of the whole of the course as well as for all the other reasons why we climb.
Wow!

Report, Road Running,

Well done Dave. Impesssive running.

Well done lad, good weekend in the colours! ;]

Sounds like a race worth doing, if I ever do a half marathon again. Looks stunning.

Like your guerilla race tactics, never know when or where your strike.

Hadn't shaved all week and ate 3 bananas before the race!
A race worth doing indeed.

Well done Dave, that's a great result and time. Keep up the good work!
