I had a terrible run, had to really fight the urge to stop from 8k on, and felt sick most of way round. Clearly a week of racing taking its toll. 42:18 on this flat course compared to a PB of 41:30 set on the rather hilly Balmoral course. Poor show.
To be noted this was also the East District 10K Championships and Mr Hood and Mr Wilkie took 1st and 3rd place in the Masters category.
Well done to all those that tagged on race #7/8 of the week-ish ;] I drank beer.

Jan, I had a brief moment of Zen this morning, and in that Zen moment I entered the Glenshee 9 (21 miles, 6000ft) on Sunday. I'm not sure Zen works for me :-)
Ah but you are going for races and distances that interest you. That's Zen. Not sure a 21 miler is going to do a lot for your speed though!
